Flora Danica is the name of one of the most comprehensive atlas of botany, published 1761-1883 with beautiful of colored boards of all of Denmark-Norway, (later Scandinavia) flora. The main part of the work consists consists of 51 booklets + 3 supplement booklets with a total of 3,240 copper engraved plates with folio-sized pictures of all the plants that seemed wild in the kingdom.
The atlas is issued in both colored and uncolored versions. During the long publishing project was changed several times.
